Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin! This means that when our body has an abundance of it, it gets stored in body tissue instead of being excreted through your urine. So, if a person has too much stored in their body, it could be potentially dangerous.

Vitamin D is also a hormone! Its primary function is cell management. Throughout your body, your cells are constantly reproducing and multiplying, and every single one of your cells has a vitamin D receptor. Occasionally, something will go wrong, and a cell will mutate. Luckily, vitamin D can send signals through its receptor on the cell and into that cell’s nucleus to tell the cell how to repair itself. If the cell is not repairable, vitamin D can also tell it how to destroy itself that way it won’t multiply and spread throughout your body! This is ultimately how vitamin D is known to prevent cancer considering is prevents mutated (cancer) cells from multiplying!

More than 90% of our needed vitamin D is created when the skin is exposed to the sun (UVB light). The other 10% comes from food. But when the sun goes away, our vitamin D levels deplete causing everyone to be sad, sick, and sluggish during the winter. This is why our vitamin D injections are so great right now!

Vitamin D also works hand-in-hand with our calcium levels. The body needs vitamin D in order to absorb calcium. Without vitamin D, one can’t form enough of the hormone called calcitriol, which is “active vitamin D”. Calcitrol increases the level of calcium in the blood by increasing the amount of calcium that is absorbed through the food and supplements we take! The more calcitrol we have, the more calcium will get absorbed in the body therefore preventing calcium being excreted in the urine. So if there is low calcitrol, then the body is forced to take calcium from existing stores in the skeleton, which in turn, weakens your bones and prevents forming strong, new bones.

  • Dual purpose injection can be given to patients suffering from anxiety, migraines or muscle tension
  • GABA is a muscle relaxant, decreases anxiety, aids in secreting growth hormone, promotes sleep, and helps with hypoglycemia
  • Magnesium plays an important role in neurochemical transmission and muscular excitability; has been used successfully for seizures and other muscle related problems
  • Taurine acts as a metabolic transmitter and is also known to have a detoxifying effect
  • Theanine is one of the chemicals found in green tea and is used to reduce stress and anxiety while promoting relaxation.
  • Mitochondrial fatty acid that is highly involved in energy metabolism
  • Synthesized in the body and can be consumed through eating meats and minimally in some fruits/vegetables
  • Has shown benefit against various forms of oxidation and inflammation
  • Potent antioxidant compound
  • Works with the mitochondria and the body’s natural antioxidant defenses
  • Seen as an anti-aging compound since it can reverse some of the oxidant damage related effects of aging

BCAAs are used to improve exercise performance and reduce protein and muscle breakdown during intense exercise. Branched-chain amino acids are used to treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease), brain conditions due to liver disease (chronic hepatic encephalopathy, latent hepatic encephalopathy), a movement disorder called tardive dyskinesia, a genetic disease called McArdle’s disease, a disease called spinocerebellar degeneration, and poor appetite in elderly kidney failure patients and cancer patients. Branched-chain amino acids are also used to help slow muscle wasting in people who are confined to bed.

  • Required for the transport and breakdown of body fat for the generation of metabolic energy
  • Oral supplementation can decrease fat mass, preserve muscle during exercise, and reduce muscle fatigue
  • Important regulator of skeletal muscle fuel selection; needed to determine whether muscle tissue utilizes carbohydrates or fat for energy
  • When taken orally, carnitine requires a high dose to promote fat tissue breakdown
  • Only a fraction of carnitine is absorbed during oral digestion, when administered by injection, nutrients like carnitine are completely absorbed by the body.
  • Contains L-ornithine, L-arginine, and L-citrulline
  • Combined to promote the production of nitric oxide
  • Supports healthy levels of Human Growth Hormone (GH) by stimulating the release of GH from the pituitary gland
  • Designed to help improve lean body mass, athletic performance, cardiovascular health, and vascular function
  • Used to promote wound healing and recovery from sports-related (or work) injury

Glutathione is a potent antioxidant. It can be used to repair damaged cells, detoxify the liver, boost the immune system, and assist in the metabolism of toxins.

L-Glycine is an amino acid that helps to improve mood, energy, muscular performance, and cognitive function — especially during low carbohydrate diets.
